It’s being reported that Roland Martin’s suspension from CNN was  “lifted.”  from CNN. While I am sure many are going to be mad that Roland was reinstated, I am glad that we will still have one in the number to speak for us on CNN during this important election season.  Martin got in trouble for saying:

CNN made the announcement of Martin’s return during a conference call with the media on Monday, according to FishbowlDC saying basically that the tweets were “regrettable and offensive and the language used that demeans is inconsistent with the values and culter of their organization.

When asked about the lifting of the suspension, GLAAD noted:

“CNN’s suspension of Roland Martin sparked a nationwide dialogue about the prevalence of anti-LGBT violence and how language can contribute to that. We hoped that Martin would use this incident to speak out in support of LGBT people and against violence. It remains to be seen whether he will continue to use his platforms to do that.”

Ok, Martin the Lawd covered you,  so remember you are a celebrity now so you got to watch what you tweet about, Chile!
