Queen Latifah coming back to Talk Show TV

Queen Latifah is back this fall with a new TV Talk Show and its being produced by Jada and Will Smith.

 

Jada spilled the beans this week on her face book page this week about being the executive producer of Queen latifah’s new talk show:

Wearing my Executive Producer hat, standing beside the next daytime talk show superstar. Starting September 16, 2013, you will be able to kick it with Queen Latifah everyday.

We’re gonna have fun :)

The Show will be syndicated on CBS  tv channels starting this fall and will be similar to the Monique show featuring interviews with celebrities, musical performances and comedy acts.  If you watch television keep your eye open for this one.

Dana Elaine Owens (born March 18, 1970) was born in Newark, New Jersey, and lived primarily in East Orange, New Jersey. She is the daughter of Rita (née Bray), a teacher at Irvington High School (Latifah’s alma mater) and Lancelot Owens, Sr., a police officer, her parents divorced when Latifah was ten. Latifah was raised in the Baptist church and attended Catholic school in Newark, New Jersey. Her stage name, Latifah (لطيفة laţīfa), meaning “delicate” and “very kind” in Arabic, she found in an Islamic book of names when she was eight.  Always a tall girl, the 5’10” Latifah was a power forward on her high school women basketball team.
