In addition to interviewing Bobbie Kristina, Oprah Winfrey, interviewed Whitney Houston’s brother Gary and sister-in-law Patricia at their home outside Atlanta, Georgia.

Patricia, Whitney’s closest friend, manager and confident, mentioned that Whitney was in good spirits the final days of her life, but that she noticed a couple of days before her death that “she was off” and noticed that something was not right and that prompted her to attend the most talked about pre-grammy party that ended with an altercation with a former x factor singer.

Patricia noted that there was no physical fight as the tabloids and blogs have suggested but there was in fact words exchanged after it wars realized that the young lady in questioned appeared to continuously be in Whitney’s presence.

Oprah asked Pat if she feared that one day she would get the call that Whitney was gone as a result of the drug abuse and Pat quickly replied that she was concerned that if Whitney did not change something  would happen, however, she noted that change was happening and Whitney was turning the corner on her drug habit, while she admitted that Whitney was consuming alcohol she says she does not believe that Whitney was high off drugs due to her demanding schedule that week.

Pat did say that she believed Whitney was chasing dreams that no longer existed and looking for love in the wrong places during the last days of her life.

When asked questions about Bobby Brown being responsible for introducing Whitney to drugs and leaving the funeral, Pat Houston comes to Bobby’s defense and acknowledges on his behalf that he did not introduce Whitney to drugs and advised that Bobby Brown was never told he was not welcomed at the funeral and maintains that she is in communication with him regarding the state of well being with his daughter,  Bobbie Kristina.

Whitney Houston’s brother candidly explained that he has much love for Bobby Brown and does not think the pair were good for each other in the marriage but he holds no hard feelings for Bobby.

When asked about the tabloids leaking Whitney Houston in the Casket, Gary and Patricia says they have no idea who would take the photo but the family felt very violated by the act.  Oprah wanted it to be made clear on behalf of Ms. Cissy  Houston that she is not upset with the Funeral Home.

Gary went on to pay tribute to his sister singing her “I Look to You” before having everybody int he room crying including Oprah.

Oprah asked about the wellbeing of Cissy with Gary responding that Cissy told him a few months before Whitney’s death that she was not going to be with them much longer and Pat said if she could ask one thing of God that would be for Cissy to see Whitney one last time to bring closure for her.

Oprah asked both Gary and Pat if they felt they have closure with Gary saying “It is Well with My Soul!” and Pat noting that yes  she has closure because she knows that Whitney trusted her as her protector and now she  has the Ultimate Protector–“God Got You!”
