Dr. Katrice Albert
Dr. Katrice Albert, a graduate of beloved HBCU Xavier University in New Orleans, is the NCAAâs newest executive vice president of inclusion and human resources, making her the first-ever person in this position.
In this role, Albert leads efforts to enhance diversity inclusion, leadership development, education and community engagement.
âIn todayâs competitive markets, the top organizations want competitively superior, top talent, and that means having diversity at every level,â says Albert. âAnd inclusion is now part of the executive section in these companies and organizations.â
Albertâs goal is to make sure that diversity is highlighted throughout the collegiate association by living by her favorite saying, âyou canât be what you canât see.â
She continues by saying, âso we must do a better job of showing the positive impact of diversity at the highest levels of athletic administration.â
Albert will be leading community outreach events this weekend during the Menâs Final Four in San Antonio, and the womenâs in Columbus, Ohio.
