I had the pleasure of screening RESPECT recently and Chile let me tell you,
breaking out from the thumb of patriarchy and male ego, RESPECT depicts a story of authentic talent. Laced with the pains of life, the story of the Queen of Soul reminds us all of what RESPECT means to break through and break out!
After being cooped up for 1.5 years streaming movies at home, I could not have picked a better film to venture into the movie theater again. I give the RESPECT movie a high five for sure!
