Dr. Jasmin Sculark Installation

Washington, DC — On Sunday, September 7, 2014 Jericho City of Praise (JCOP) will officially install Dr. Jasmin “Jazz” Sculark as the new pastor to lead the ministry of one of the largest churches in the country. This event will mark history; Dr. Jazz will serve as one of the youngest women to lead a mega church in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.

Dr. Jasmin Sculark, nationally and internationally known as Pastor, Teacher, Author, Evangelist and better known in the Christian community as “Dr. Jazz, The Daughter of Thunder,” was named Pastor-Select at JCOP in Landover, Maryland in March 2014. Since then nearly 500 people have joined the church as members under her leadership.

While Bishop T. D. Jakes may be presiding over the installation service, several power house god gifted preachers will be annointing Jericho City of Praise over the weekend including pastor John Jenkins, Susie Owens and one of my favorite preachers, Dr. Charles E. Booth, chile if you have not had the opportunity to hear this man preach  you are missing a WORD, Dr. Booth ain’t nothing but the truth!

I pray God’s richest blessings on Dr. Jasmin Sculark as she stands on the shoulders of a great woman who built a mega churchwhen mega wasn’t popular, none other than Apostle “Betty Peebles”

“I am going to build on the legacy of Apostle Betty Peebles,” Dr. Jasmin “Jazz” Sculark said in a statement. “I am not coming to lay a foundation; I am coming to build upon a foundation that has already been laid. I am excited about what God will do with Jericho City of Praise and the people in the D.C. Metropolitan area.”
