Best Funeral Ever TV series: Are you Serious? (video)
Best Funeral Ever is a new series premiering on TLC in January, 2013. When I first saw the video trailer of TLC’s reality show, BEST Funeral Ever, I thought to myself are you serious? The un-churched have found a way to ghetto-fie (e-bonics) a funeral.
according to Entertainment Weekly:
The series will focus on Golden Gate Funerals, a Dallas-based funeral home that specializes in bizarre memorials and unusual send-offs.
The hour-long special was originally scheduled to air on Dec. 27, but has now been pushed back to Jan. 6 after Here Comes Honey Boo Boo‘s Halloween special. The reality show follows Golden Gate Funeral Home director John Beckwith Jr. and his staff behind the scenes as they organize unconventional funerals — described as home-going celebrations — including Christmas, disco, and boxing match-themed services.
