Chase Dat Truth, takes gospel music from the church to the streets, using hip-hop beats to deliver a biblical message in the music. Some teach, other preach, but Chase Dat Truth ministers God’s word using hip-hop lyrics to relate to people of all generations. The No Fear extended play album, produced by Jay Anthony Beats, is a masterpiece of fresh lyrics and uptempo beats. It has a total of 8 tracks. Each songs tells a different story and give you a different feeling. First, Track 1, “Faith Walk”, will make you get up and dance. Track 2, “No Matter How Hard”, featuring Aquaya Monchelle, will encourage you. Track 3, “Trumpet”, featuring Shavondra “Apple” Hawkins, will give you goosebumps. Track 7, “Praise Him” will make you dance and shout. Lastly, Track 8, “Lift Me Up” will make you rejoice. New Orleans native, Chase Dat Truth, is an African-American actress and lyricist. Born of Good Luck, she is the last child of seven children. At a young age, she was influenced by musical artists such as; Queen Latifah, Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams. In 2016, Chase, released her debut extended play album titled; I’M HERE. In 2017, she followed up with the release of the first single, “Faith Walk,” off her latest gospel extended play album; NO FEAR, which is currently available digitally on all major media outlets. In addition to music, Chase made her acting television debut in 2012, in MTV’s Ladies Man: a MADE Movie (2013). In 2013, she landed the role of “Kristen” in Mike Binder’s feature film, Black or White (2015). In addition to her striving for personal excellence, her goal is to empower people to embark on their own personal pursuit of happiness, as we all “Chase Dat Truth.”
