Bishop Lester Love Signs Music deal With Matthew Knowles

New Orleans based Bishop Lester Love is has joined the stellar line up of MusicWorld Gospel, the label headed by Music Mogul Mathew Knowles.

A Youtube Video of Bishop Love, in which he puts a spiritual twist on love songs such as “If I ain’t Got You”, “Always and Forever” and “Reunited” got over a million views, 2,000 comments and the attention of Mathew Knowles.

“We enthusiastically welcome Bishop Love to our unique and diverse roster of artists at Music World Gospel,” said Mathew Knowles, founder, President and CEO of Music World Entertainment.

“I believe his ability to blend contemporary R&B and popular songs with sacred messages will bring something fresh and exciting to both the urban and inspirational genres of music.”

Love will offer similar themes on his first CD under the new joint venture, which will be released in winter 2012.

To me he ‘gets it’ and I can’t wait for our vision to become a reality.” In addition to music, the partnership will include the release of select ministry projects.

Music World is the label home of fellow New Orleanians T57 and male vocalists Micah Stampley and Brian Courtney Wilson.

Bishop Love is the Senior Pastor of The City of Love, which he serves and leads with his wife, Pastor Fran Love. He is the author of two books: The Art of Armor Bearing: God’s Blueprint for Effective Servanthood and the recently published Catching the Mantle: Positioned To Receive the Double Portion. Love also serves as Bishop of Protocol Worldwide for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, where he previously served as first assistant to his mentor Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. known for doing over the edge ministry, recently Bishop Love, in celebration of a new church opening turned his church into a nightclub.
