Two people shot and two killed while attending a funeral at Victory for the World Church (video)
My God, my God, who would think that it is not safe to even attend a funeral anymore. Several news outlets are reporting that 19 year old Ryan Guilder, who was shot and killed while attempting to rob someone, funeral was being held at Victory for the World Church today when, allegedly, the suspect in Guider’s death appeared at the church, which instigated the retaliation shooting. (SMH) This black on black crime and Youth Gang violence is out of control now. Thousands of people should join the roof top pastor who is making a 3,000 mile walk across America trying to bring about awareness of this issue. We marched for Travon Martin, We marched for Troy Davis, now we need to march for Salvation of Souls and a call for action to stop the youth gang and gun violence, period!
STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — At least two people have been killed and two others have been hurt during a shooting outside Victory for the World Church, which is also known as Victory Baptist Church and Dr. Kenneth Samuel Lee is Pastor.
The shooting happened Thursday afternoon during a funeral at the church on Hairston Road near Central Drive in Stone Mountain. Donald Trimble Mortuary confirmed the funeral was for homicide victim Ryan Guider.
Investigators said Guider was fatally shot while breaking into a home on May 26. The shooter, Marcus Ventress, is still wanted by police.
Police are looking for a suspect in Thursday’s shooting near Fellsridge Court between Central and Memorial drives and Hairston Road.
