Paula White Alleged New Pastor of New Destiny Christian Center
I Just received a tip hot off the press from a person with very close ties to New Destiny Christian Center giving me a heads up that Paula White is allegedly going to be the new pastor of NDCC. The source states that she basically bulldozed her way there and it even caused Bishop Hillard to resign from the board and supporters of Riva Tims are NOT HAPPY:
Hi. I’m a person who has friends at New Destiny Christian Center, and word on the street is that Paula White is strong arming her way as the new installed pastor there. This is not just a rumor! You can go on Twitter and see people already congratulating her as the new pastor. I’m very concerned because Paula White has been in scandal after scandal and this smells like money greed because the church is financially free and have money built up. Also, they were looking for a strong married couple but now it’s going to be a twice divorced woman who was dating Pastor Ricky Hawkins who was caught in phone sex with his members that was all over the news! I also heard that they chose someone and Paula stepped in afterwards and said she wanted to be pastor. Also, Bishop Hilliard has stepped down from board and choosing a new pastor for New Destiny. I wonder why? Hmmm. I wonder what her spiritual father TD Jakes has to say about this. Don’t believe me if you want, but check for yourself. Here’s typical Paula White about to scam more people and this time it’s people who are hurting from their pastor dying who’s death is still a mystery. And one last thing, what kind of lack of integrity does the church board have for allowing this to happen? I hope the people stand up and get a lawyer and sue her and the church board. This is not right. Just not right.
Of course I had to do some further digging and found an update from the Orlando Sentenial confirming the sources statement:

A judge’s ruling today that the New York Medical Examiner’s office could release the cause of death of Zachery Tims comes as speculation mounts that Pastor Paula White has been selected to replace Tims as head of New Destiny Christian Center.
White is senior pastor of Without Walls International Church in Tampa and was identified by Samuel Anderson, a New Destiny minister, as the church’s “interim pastor” when the search to find Tims’ replacement started.
Speculation that White would be taking over as head of the church on Jan. 1 was fueled by the public resignation of Bishop I.V. Hilliard, pastor of New Light Church in Houston, from a council of four bishops chosen to advise church leaders on selecting a successor.
Hilliard, in a video, stated that he was resigning because, “My commitment to integrity will not allow me to support something that I believe is deceptive and that comprises previously agreed upon procedures and protocol.”
The council, which included prominent evangelist T.D. Jakes, had recommended that Tims’ successor should be a married couple — which would seem to rule out Tims’ ex-wife Reva Tims, but also Paula White, who is divorced.
Neither Hilliard nor Anderson responded to requests for an interview. Paula White could not be reached. Riva Tims declined comment. But, I was able to find a Bishop I.V. Hillards youtube video statement regarding his decision to resign,

This would be way to funny if it wasn’t such a travesty. You guy’s are being preached to by a true to life racist Mississippi red neck. A law suit was filed against her and the son of Randy White for making racist remarks to a young black man from Georgia while he was in their employment. Paula hired a very expensive attorney to fight this case filed by a poor Georgia man. You’ve got to ask yourself; why did she need such a high profile lawyer to fight a poor Georgia boy who had no attorney and was defending himself? I was there when this young man filed the suit at the Federal court house in Tampa, problem was the young man left himself wide open by not contacting an attorney to do his bidding for him. The young man’s big mistake was that he was on probation in Georgia when he came to Tampa to file the suit and Paula’s attorney notified the Georgia authorities who then gave the man two years in prison for parole violation. He isn’t the brightest bulb in the box but that doesn’t give Paula and her stepson the right to use the “N” word when referring to him. You folks really need to do some deep digging before you allow that woman to speak on behalf of God.
I agree that the church belongs to God. The Gates of Hell will not prevail againist the Church. Ministries however are started when God calls someone or several someones to a work. Many such ministries remain within the family to whom the vision was given. Kenneth Hagin, the Copelands, Fredrick K.C. Price, Billy Graham, Oral Roberts to name a few. In this case it would have been a better than the “world” display of the Love of God and caring for “our” own for Pastor Tims to be appointed by the Board. She in my view is equally if not more suited in integrety & anointing, Passion and vision to any other candidate. There is sti time for the better choice to be made. I pray leadership will correct this situation. Nothing againist Pastor Paula but something is seriously out of Order here.
This whole thing is just sad. I know where Pastor Tims is and the heart break this situation must cause him. We are all sinners saved by the unmerited grace of God and we should be careful to not act as the world acts. My prayers continue for my brothers and sisters at NDCC. As far as the divorce situation, divorce does not cancel the work of God in our lives. It is sad, it is a sin but no more than any other sin. Sister White can evangelize, teach, speak or any other function in the church that her God given talent can be used. The only thing I do disagree with is that she cannot be a pastor. Pastors are male and male only. A women cannot be the husband of one wife other than that she can do anything that any other Christian does in the service of our Lord. With what this church has been through you would have thought that a strong married couple was the right course, but our ways are not Gods way. If God is in it, it will prosper, if He is not it will fail. Sorry to steal someone elses words.
